Restore and Recover Massage Therapy is located in Lindenhurst, NY and was founded in 2024 by Meredith Traietta, LMT, MLD-C. Meredith is a graduate of the New York College of Health Professions and is licensed to practice Massage Therapy in the State of New York. She has advanced training in Medical Massage and is certified in Manual Lymphatic Drainage through the Academy of Lymphatic Studies with advanced training in oncology and post-plastic surgery techniques.
Our Swedish massage is perfect for those who need to unwind and relax. Long, smooth strokes, kneading, and circular movements are used on the topmost layer of muscles to promote relaxation.

MLD is beneficial for anyone recovering from surgery, those experiencing lymphedema, or anyone with chronic inflammation. Our prenatal massage is designed to relieve the physical discomforts of pregnancy, such as back pain, leg cramps, and swollen ankles. Gentle, yet firm relaxing techniques are used that are safe for both mom and baby.

Our Orthopedic/Therapeutic Massage is perfect for anyone suffering from chronic pain, who has had recent surgery or injury, or who suffers from conditions such as sciatica, arthritis, fibromyalgia, and more! These massages are tailored to your specific condition with focus on the main body parts being affected, although a full-body massage can still be performed in our 60-minute option! This massage is a good option for someone who requires medical massage but does not have an insurance plan that covers massage therapy. A prescription is not required but highly recommended!

Our Medical Massage has the same focus as our Orthopedic/Therapeutic Massage but is the perfect option for those whose insurance plans cover massage therapy. A prescription from your physician is required for this service. The length of the treatment will be determined based on the condition being treated. Our sinus treatment massage is designed for anyone suffering from chronic sinus infections, colds, allergies, or chronic sinusitis. This treatment combines gentle massage strokes to the forehead, nose, and cheeks, as well as manual lymphatic drainage techniques, acupressure points, and aromatherapy to relieve sinus pressure and help the recipient breathe easier!
